In The Beginning Meditation
DUE FRIDAY 26th-(but we will not review until THURSDAY 1st, so keep thinking about it) You will need your Parents guidance, and perhaps you would like to ask your Youth Pastor or other leader at your church. Watch John Piper’s (5 minutes) thoughts on understanding creation and answer the following questions.(You will see these questions again on tests and recitation, feel free to ask parents, pastors, teachers, or books for their answers.)
1. What are essential elements for evangelical Christians to hold in common about creation. (Piper will give you some initial thoughts, but evaluate his answers biblically. Add your own thoughts, ask parents, pastors and teachers for their thoughts.) 2. In response to the answers of the first question, explain why each criteria you selected may have a broader impact on God's nature, man's nature, sin, redemption, sanctification, the inherent word of God or our call to be stewards of creation.
